Designed to look the part with blue jeans or a suit, the new Selous Premium Suede Strap is handmade in France from high-quality suede produced in small batches from goat hides. Our most premium two-piece leather strap, the suede strap complements vintage tool watches or field watches and is perfect for when you want to dress up your watch. The strap is available in three colors: Mil Green, Slate Grey, and Desert Brown.
The strap is named after Frederick Courteney Selous, a British explorer, soldier, and conservationist, famous for his adventures in southern Africa during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
While most of our collection of straps was developed for an active lifestyle, there are certain instances where a more refined, under-the-radar look is preferred. Designed for wrists from 6 to 7.5 IN (15.25 to 19 CM), the W.O.E. Suede Strap is available in two sizes, 20 and 22mm, both of which taper 2mm to the custom-engraved stainless steel buckles.
Suede is a luxurious premium material made from the inner part of a hide, with a velvety texture that is also among the softest leathers available. Each strap is two layers and backed with supple calfskin for a wearing experience that is among the most comfortable in our collection.
Like virtually all leather straps, we do not recommend wearing the Selous Suede Strap in water.
