While we are typically more subtle with our color choices, for the fifth installment of our collaborative series with Z.A. Straps in the UK, we opted for a slightly more attention-grabbing approach. With black webbing from the UK paired with red stitching and a new red woven patch depicting the W.O.E. Spearhead, this is the W.O.E.-Z.A. 5.0.
This Limited Edition strap was personally designed by W.O.E. with the input, guidance, and expertise in craftsmanship of the professionals at Z.A. Straps. The 5.0 is a black single pass strap with red side stitching and a red-on-black W.O.E. woven insignia placed in between the strap keepers so that it is not visible when worn. The 5.0 is available in 20 and 22mm sizes and with optional PVD hardware. Like all Z.A. Straps, the 5.0 is woven, sewn, and constructed in the United Kingdom by veteran-owned Z.A. Straps.
The custom UK weave with red side stitching was modeled on fabric from compass straps used by British and American Intelligence and Special Operations personnel during and after World War II.
The watch strap contains a new W.O.E. patch based on the OSS spearhead, an hourglass base, and the signature “WOE” text, all executed in red. In line with our community’s ethos, the insignia is visible when the strap is open, but covered up when the strap is fastened. Designed with the quiet professional in mind.
